We have much to be thankful for this holiday season. We have welcomed more Battle Buddies to help with our veterans, launched a new portrait program to help recognize veterans in our region, and watched the nation pay tribute to veterans both young and old during Veteran’s Day. All the while, our Battle Buddies continue to help veterans with a variety of needs, some of which we have listed in this newsletter.
Throughout the month of November we promoted Wreaths Across America for Culpeper National Cemetery. The cemetery has 11,000 Veteran graves. With the help of Hero’s Bridge and other sponsors, over half of the graves will receive wreaths on December 14. On that day, our team will participate in the wreath laying together at the cemetery.
