Much of our time lately has been consumed by discussions of the Hero’s Bridge Village, and rightfully so as it will be a significant undertaking and of tremendous value to our veterans. But the Village should not eclipse the daily work we do to improve the quality of life for elderly veterans.
Once the paint is dry, the boxes are unpacked, and the Village is brimming with life, the activities we highlight each month in our newsletter will continue to happen.
There will still be independent veterans living in the comfort of their homes who may need assistance or social interaction and Hero’s Bridge will be there, ready to provide it.
