This year has given us so much to be grateful for. Hero’s Bridge mission advocates have supported our Village project for over a year—a project designed to provide senior veterans the opportunity to live their twilight years with dignity and grace, in a supportive community filled with compassion and care.
I eagerly await the Town Council meeting on December 10, where we will take another crucial step forward. I invite Hero’s Bridge advocates, prior speakers, and new ones to join us at 6:30 p.m. for the vote at Warrenton Town Hall, located at 21 Main Street, Warrenton.
Meanwhile, our incredible team members and volunteers have continued their vital work, improving veterans’ quality of life in countless ways. From simple yet heartfelt phone calls to guiding veterans and their loved ones through the transition to hospice care, their unwavering dedication has been inspiring. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed new veterans and said goodbyes to cherished friends. Together, we’ve run, walked, and championed our veterans, responding to their every need. Through it all, the community has stood by us, lending their support.
To our volunteers, supporters, and, of course, our veterans—thank you. You are the heart of everything we do. Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.
