Every day the Hero’s Bridge team demonstrates our thanks and gratitude for our veterans. We do this with many simple acts of kindness: a birthday card, a coloring page, assistance with groceries, and more. These simple acts are to help make days easier, less lonely, and safer for our aging veterans whose actions so many decades ago did all this and more for our nation.
Our gratitude extends beyond our veterans to include our volunteers, without whom, we simply could not be the growing organization that we have become. Thanks to our volunteers, we are able to fulfill the needs of each veteran.
We are also grateful for our community of leaders. As we navigate the challenging waters of building our Veterans Village, we are leaning on the expertise and knowledge of our Board of Supervisors and zoning experts.
This Thanksgiving, we extend a warm Thank You to everyone who has supported Hero’s Bridge these past five years. Whether you have ordered a commemorative brick for a loved veteran in your family, donated to Running for Heroes, or simply forwarded our newsletter to your own contacts, we appreciate the support, both seen and unseen, you have given to us.
We wish everyone in the Hero’s Bridge family and warm and safe Thanksgiving Holiday! Read the newsletter.
