Our Village Vision Comes To Life!

We are excited to finally reveal the renderings for the Hero’s Bridge Village. It has been a labor of love over the last few years, but through all the battles, it turned out almost exactly as we had envisioned: a special place of beauty, comfort, and healing for our older veterans.

Park beside the Community Center, where the spirit of connection comes alive—you might glimpse the Hero’s Bridge team in quiet service, veterans gathered over warm coffee and easy laughter, a cheerful social hosted by neighbors, or a Paw Patrol volunteer offering gentle comfort with a loyal, four-legged friend. …meandering walkways with lush landscaping will guide you to one of the 44 cottages, where each home faces the others in a quiet embrace of community. Small porches, shaded by welcoming overhangs, invite veterans to sit awhile, breathing in fresh air and sharing easy moments with neighbors. The cottages will wear America’s colors, patriotic, cheerful and warm. Step inside, and you’ll find high ceilings and second-story windows that pour sunlight into the cozy space, wrapping it in a soft, natural glow. Each cottage is purposely small, simple and fully ADA compliant.

The Village will be a promise fulfilled—a haven of comfort and care, where even the most overlooked of our aging veterans can spend their twilight years wrapped in dignity. Here, in this gentle and close-knit community, they will find not just shelter, but belonging, peace, and the honor they’ve long deserved.

Sponsorship Opportunities for Every Budget

This has always been the community’s project. Through the generosity of so many, we have the funding in place for site plan and permitting which could take 4-8 months. Much more is needed for the hard construction phase. We have created opportunities for families, businesses and civic organizations to put their name and stamp of support on this very special place. We know times are challenging for some right now so we made sure to include many different levels to choose from. Whether it is a small brick for $100 or it is naming rights of different spaces throughout the Village, your name can forever be a part of the fabric of this community.
