December Newsletter: A Note from Molly

Dec 23, 2024 | Newsletter

I couldn’t have imagined a more uplifting end to 2024. Watching Warrenton Town Hall erupt with applause, seeing people embrace, and witnessing tears of joy will forever be etched in my memory. While I know the real work is just beginning, the monumental milestone of having our rezoning application approved feels like the conclusion of a significant chapter—and I’m ready to begin the next one.

Before that though, I want to reflect on 2024 and all that our incredible team of staff and volunteers accomplished while I was immersed in the complexities of rezoning. This past year has been nothing short of extraordinary. We’ve worked tirelessly to strengthen our programs, serving veterans both near and far, and championing their right to a dignified quality of life.

Through it all, our veterans have stood alongside us, sharing their powerful stories of receiving help in moments of great need. As we step into 2025 and beyond, I hope we each find ways to extend a hand to those who need it most—to whomever your heart is drawn to help. As one World War II veteran so wisely reminds us, “Small acts, when multiplied by millions of people, can transform the world.”

Wishing you a joyous Christmas and a very Happy New Year!
