Last month, we proudly celebrated our Vietnam Veterans during the annual 5K Run/Walk—and what a celebration it was! The turnout this year was simply amazing.
We were especially pleased with the event’s new location. Participants enjoyed the flat, out-and-back course, with many even finishing in record time! Most importantly, the event helped raise more than $25,000 for our programs, including Battle Buddy, Paw Patrol, Home Front, and Honor Guard. Your support directly impacts veterans in need, and we are deeply grateful.
While the 5K was a tremendous success, an exciting announcement made last week may have even eclipsed it.
After months of collaboration with architects and planners, we are thrilled to share the official renderings of the Village. Until now, we’ve relied on descriptive language to help you imagine our vision. But now, whether you’re reading a media update or listening to one of our team members speak, we can all picture the same place—the future home for aging veterans, brought to life in 3D next to Warrenton United Methodist Church.
Of course, there’s still much to do to bring the Village to life. If you’ve been following our journey, we hope you’ll consider supporting the next phase. We offer giving opportunities to fit every budget—from $100 commemorative bricks to a $2.5 million Community Center naming opportunity. Every contribution brings us closer to making this dream a reality.
